X41T Battery function lost with Win7

On two X41 Tablets we have lost all battery function after installing Win7. If you pull the power cord everything dies and it will not run on battery even with a fully charged battery. Has anyone else experienced this?

Are you sure that fully charged battery isn't dead?
What does battery manager say about the battery with the system plugged in?

Shows battery has chage enough to keep laptop up. one was 36% one was 80%. I am readind Win 7 does funky things with batteries and management.
