screen volume/brightness meter

Hi, I recently instlled W7 pro on an X41 and I can report that it's much faster than xp. This is without tweaking and a straight forward installation.

My questions is how do I get the green markers on the screen when the volume or brightness is being adjusted or the audio is switched on or off. I downloaded HotKeys but it doesn't give it to me.

Any ideas?

There is a new version for Win7. It would be listed in the Lenoco download page as more recently releases. It is now a B/W bar.

Did you installed (and run) Lenovo's System Update? In my T43p it recognized all Lenovo drivers and it installed the HotKeys software among others automatically.

I did once tried to install Win7 in my X40 and I think the volume markers worked as well, but I did not use Win7 for a long time in that machine due to issues with the graphic drivers so I cannot tell for sure.

It is now a B/W bar.

It can be any color you want. Right click on desktop wallpaper>Screen resolution>Advanced settings>On Screen Display.

Thank you, I suspected that, it's the latest and greatest, right? Now I have to belly up and pay for the retail version or go back to XP.
