Windows Key for X41 Tablet in Windows 7

I've just upgraded my X41 tablet to Win 7. It's frustrating that I am unable to map a key to the Windows key.

I used to use IBM Keyboard Customizer and it worked beautifully on the original OS.

You can probably use the vista version if it is offered, or I have used the t43 keyboard customizer on my t41 - it should work

This works for opening the start menu but not for emulating the Win+L, Win+D or other Windows+Key combinations.

I installed SharpKeys. I didn't have any luck mapping my 2nd alt to the windows keys. It seemed to recognize all my keys except for the alt keys.


I just stumbled upon the application KeyTweak and it worked well for me. It recognized my right alt key and i changed the mapping to Right Windows key.

Hope this helps someone else.
