X31 Audio card

Hi
I wanna change my audio card for a better audio card. I have the competances to open and install.
First my question is : is it possible to change the audio card of the thinkpad X31 ?
If yes, where can I find it, at what price ?
Somebody has links ?

It is not possible. It is a chipset built into (as is soldered on to) the systemboard. You can use a PCMCIA audio card though.

Ah OK.
My PCMCIA port is already used, but is it working too on a compactflash port ?

Don't know of any sound cards that would work in the CF slot. How about USB?
