Thinkvantage update error 95

I tried the thinkvantage update for my x41 tablet and I get "error 95 recieved from package server" I did a search and tried removing the read only setting from the folder and runnning as administrator but to no avail. Is this still supported for my notebook?

I have discovered that I can't update due to the fact that this session folder is read only. I cannot simmply uncheck it as it doesn't affect the status after I apply the change. Then I wnt to microsoft support to manually remove it with this: http://support.microsoft.com/kb/326549/
and when I type in the command:
attrib -r +s C:\Program Files\Thinkvantage\Systemupdate\session
I get:
Parameter format not correct

wow this is a PITA can anyone tell me what Im doing wrong?
