1GB of RAM for my X30

I'm looking to stuff another 512MB into my X30 to give it a little more longevity, however all the RAM I can find on eBay at an affordable price states that it will not work in laptops with the Intel 830M chipset. My X30 uses an Intel i830MP chipset according to CPU-Z.

I've read some topics on these forums that say that just about any 512MB sticks should work in the X30, but I wanted to get some confirmation from the experts before I click the "Buy Now" button The chipset warning kind of scares me away a bit.

I do not like that seller (I much prefer to buy from individuals than business accounts on eBay, anyway).

I have been watching the price on these modules for more than a year, and I would not pay more than twenty dollars per piece (or forty for a full gibibyte). About the best price I see on occasion is sixteen dollars.
