I have an X31 with the ultrabase. The left ultrabase speaker has stopped working. Both audio channels can be heard normally when plugging in headphones, and the single speaker on the laptop works.
If I move the balance slider on the sndvol32 all the way to the left, no sound comes from the ultrabase, but there is normal sound in the left headphone when plugged into the X31's sound card (green jack).
Does anyone have any ideas where the problem might be?
I know the speakers are lousy anyway, but for streaming news or speech etc. where most of the sound comes from the left channel or where the total volume is low, it makes a difference. Thanks.
X31's Ultrabase Speaker Problem
Re: X31's Ultrabase Speaker Problem
I would try another Ultrabase to see if the problem is there. If you can't borrow one, they are cheap these days...if it is not the problem sell it here on the Marketplace forum.
