Hi, I recently bought a x201s and I loved this machine but I noticed that whenever I charge my laptop, my power adapter gets really hot and the back of my laptop gets much hotter than using battery. Is this normal? Are there settings to cool it down?
Any advice is greatly appreciated..
Thanks!

Re: x201s when charging
That's probably because when the AC is plugged the power settings default to higher power usage. The CPU is probably running at full capacity, which generates more heat. You can go into Power Manager and create your own power plan. I run my X200 at low power regardless of whether the it's plugged in or not. Most uses don't need much power, and this way my X200 runs cool and quiet.
