X41 Tablet Screen Question

Are the LCDs of tablet laptops - and specifically the X41 - harder/thicker than the LCDs of regular laptops ? It seems that pressing the stylus against the LCD would cause indentation marks.

Sorry for my very basic, potentially naive question.

Yes, there is a thin coat of glass in front of the tablet LCD's that is tied to the digitizer...not so on regular LCD's.

Thanks for that clarification. Does the glass affect the matte texture of the LCD ? Is it a little more "shiny" ?

No, the LCD on the X41T is spectacular, in my humble opinion.

I fully agree, I have a X41T since last Thursday and the first time I turned it on I went "Wooooaaaaa"
