Wireless card in X31 with windows 7

Hi,

I recently purchased an x31 which I was very happy with though it had no wireless card so I purchased one that said it had been removed from an x31 (FRU:91P7267 and PN SN: 91P7266 and it says Intel on it) I have installed it correctly but after several attempts cannot seem to get windows 7 to detect it?

I have installed tried installed different drivers but I think perhaps my next step might be to try using linux?

any ideas how to get the wireless card working or maybe I should purchase a different one I heard people are recommending the intel 2200 for the x31 I don't even know what my card is exactly.
