Any thoughts?
I have an X22 I am trying to clean up to send to a mission group I work with. It generally runs well (XP), but will run hot when installing programs (65 C) and when I open TPFanControl, no RPM is shown and the fan speed settings vary though the temperture seems to stay the same.
I have adjusted the fan thresholds and suppressed the sensors not known to be supported on older models.
Any thoughts advice or insight?
The BIOS and Embedded Controller are the most recent and the Power Mnagement driver is the newest System Update suggested.
Thanks!
Daniel

The program might be too 'new' for the 'old' X22.
There's a FAQ further down on this page: http://www.staff.uni-marburg.de/~schmitzr/donate.html
Alternatively you could try NHC: http://www.pbus-167.com/

Thanks!
I have suppressed the extended sensors - works great on th A20m. None of the other FAQ questions seem to connect - I should probably ask them, eh?
I have never been able to get NHC to control the fan.
Any insight?
Daniel

The fan doesn't go on too much on these machines. I don't think you need TPFanControl.
