Anyway to rotate screen orientation of X30?

#1 Post by snappy » Mon Jun 14, 2004 10:26 pm

Hi,

Just wondering if there is any hacks, patch, driver or app that allows us to rotate screen orientation of X30?

I've been using my X30 for 6-7mths, and its great. Feels almost like a book when I am reading stuffs from it, due to its size and weight. Now if we can somehow rotate the orientation ... then it will be exactly like a book!

... then maybe I can slap on a touch screen digitizer ... and hey, we've got a tablet or lifebook! ...

YES! It works like a gem! The only thing I need to fix is the trackpoint orientation ... otherwise, my X30 is now like a book that you can hold in your hands while sitting in a couch.

I also found the Rotation software that IBM licensed from Portrait for its TransNote. It actually works on my X30 as well. Too bad, it only rotate 180 deg. Furthermore, I think its against the license as well right?

Anyone know how I can change the orientation of the mouse (trackpoint) so that it is orientated correctly when I switch to Portrait modes? I know that Logitech mouse had such as feature though I always wondered why someone would hold their mouse in a slanted fashion.
