CRD abbreviation TPFanControl in X31 !?

#1 Post by ivars » Fri Jul 22, 2011 5:19 am

Just installed fresh Win XP Pro OS on my X31 laptop. Then installed TPFanControl.
There appears to be a reading - CRD 47-52 Centigrades running on battery, and up to 64 Centigrades when running connected to the AC power. And that makes me a little bit worried. But most unpleasant factor in all of that is that I cannot figure out what does CRD stand for??? Any ideas, people!?

Need to sort this out so I can deal with the problem (if there is one, really).

So anyone using TPFanControl and know something about this sensor, please let me know!

Current Regulator Diode. I'd guess it is a sensor near the power diodes and CPU

Thanks, Harryc! Appreciate your quick reply!

Up to 64 Centigrades... do you think I should be worried!? All the other temperatures are allright!
