IBM Badged X61s Rarity

Some time two years ago I got my hands on a X61s in pretty decent condition. It has "IBM Thinkpad" branding where the "Thinkpad X-Series" would normally go. I cant seem to find much information on it like history, value, rarity, ect. All I know is that the IBM branded ones were made very early in the X61s production run and were swapped for Lenovo branded after just a few months. Mine has a Lenovo boot splash screen and Lenovo branding everywhere except the Thinkpad badge on the lid and plamrest say IBM. I do know that it is a custom order model made 07/2007.

I repasted the CPU, bought a new battery, and threw in a SSD with Linux Lite and used it as a daily driver for 4 months till I bout a T14s Gen 1.
I do still have the original HDD with Windows Vista on it and it has been untouched since about 2014 which is when I estamate the laptop was last in service since I got it.

I recall the IBM badges were gradually replaced with Thinkpad badges over the lifetime of 60/61 series. For some time they ran concurrently, but I wouldn't be able to say which one was more rare than the other, and at what point. I have a T60 with an IBM badge and had one with a Thinkpad badge. I've seen T61s with Thinkpad badge, and briefly owned a Z61t with a Thinkpad badge. My X61 has the Thinkpad badge.

You may notice that because of the transitional period, the badge stickers on 60/61 series are shape and size compatible (but not across X and other series - the X ones are smaller). So one could swap an IBM badge for a Thinkpad one or vice-versa. I wouldn't suggest it, though - sometimes the stickers come off clean, and then they don't stick as well.
