Unfortunate x61 tablet repair attempt problem

Well the X61 tablet I acquired with the SXGA+ screen decided to develop the air bubble problem. I had hoped that I might be able to fix it by removing the protective plate and then reapplying it, however I tried to pull it off too fast apparently and accidentally cracked the plate. Does anyone have any suggestions on where to go from here?

x41t and X60t screens have the plate attached with a soft adhesive and can be removed if you are careful. I have never been able to remove an x61 plate without breaking somthing. I have never found a source of them available separately, although I have tried. Once you get the plate completely off, you might try cleaning off the debris and moving one from a dead x41t or x60t lcd

So then what I need to be looking for is an HV121P01-100 screen right? I understand it that BOE-Hydis is the proper brand for these screens, but some sellers claim they have ones from other manufactures (one example would be HannStar). Are these lower quality, is it just a matter of who assembled the panel, or are these sellers mislabeling?
Even though the air bubbles should not be a problem with the older model, should I consider replacing the CCFL with a third party LED backlight? If so, where can I find such replacement? Moreover, is replacing the CCFL a relatively risk free operation or would it be suggested that I have this done for me?
Regarding the old screen, I'll probably try to continue to try and remove the plate once I have the replacement in hand. If I can't find a replacement plate then at the very least, I understand the panel by itself would be desirable for someone looking to SXGA mod an X61.

You need to ask the seller if the screen has a writing surface attached. The ones I have seen do not. You will need to move the digitizer from the back of the screen. You will not find an LED backlight screen that fits with your lid and cable. Also, there would be no LCD control board to replace the inverter

Would that sxga panel work in an x60? If so, and you decide to get rid of it, I would be interested as I have an old x60 that I would love to upgrade.

@Blzut3:
I have the screen plate and digitizer from a broken X41T sitting here.
A tiny corner of the screen plate was broken off when removing it from the LCD, but it is so small, that you can't even see it when you put the LCD bezel over it.
The 'break' is only in the thin edge that would be glued, not in the 'writeable' area.
$15.- including shipping within CONUS.
PM me if interested.

Little late, but thanks for the offer. I already bought an HV121P01-100 for $330 off ebay. I had to swap the digitizer though since the one on the new screen needed a longer wire, but the screen seems to be working well.
So now what I'm planning to do is have my brother take the 101 in where he works (chemical company) and see if they have any ideas on how to remove the plate. Without the plate it would be useful for an x61 SXGA conversion. Or I guess with your plate it could be restored for use in a tablet.
The FRU for the extra digitizer I now have is 93P5607. The P/N for the HV121P01-101 is 42T0462.
Edit: Oh yeah almost forgot to mention that I lost two screw covers in the process. One of the flat circular ones (upper right) and the square one in the lower right. Don't really have much hope in finding those though.
Edit 2: Uploaded some pictures of the 101 before it was removed:

For missing covers, you could use a piece of black "matte finish" electrician's tape or gaffer tape, that you cut to size.

"needing a longer wire" means it came from an X60 with a "G4" digitizer. Most X61 machines have a "G5" digitizer. They are compatible, but, as you see, need a different LCD cable.
