Installed Crucial C300 64GB SSD on X60 Tablet. Nice!

It started from the battery thing. Original 8cell was dead and since I did not want to buy an 8cell for tablet as it is big and bulky and especially annoying when in tablet mode, I chose 4cell. Got new original one from ebay and started to think how to extend its life. First I took the laptop apart and cleaned the heatsink, oiled the fan. There was a fair amount of dust in the heatsink and temps dropped from 60 degrees C to ~50. Additionally I undervolted the L2500 CPU as much as it took and that dropped idle temps to ~40-42 degrees.
Since the fan was basically inaudible now and most prevalent noise was from hard drive, I decided to go SSD route. Bought a Crucial RealSSD C300 64GB locally for 65 euros and I am pleased. It performs as good as X60 SATA bus allows and then some. I know that I am sort of "wasting" the C300 potential but only in read speeds (it can achieve ~370 MB/s) and what's most important is that it does not make ANY noise, consumes less power than 7200 rpm HDD and produces less heat.
System is very snappy and good to use now.
