X61 Windows 7 Experience scores

I have X61 T7300 2GHz, 4gb ram, running Win 7 Home Premium.

With the original 80gb SATA HDD in it gives me these windows experience scores:

Processor 5.1
Memory 5.1
Primary hard disk 4.7

I have put a new OCZ vertex Sata 2 120 gb SSD in it and it returns the following scores:

Processor 3.8
Memory 4.7
Primary hard disk 7.1.

Why the reduction in the CPU and Ram scores?

Make sure your power profile is set to highest and make sure your on AC (IIRC it wont start on battery anyway). Re-run, it's not the perfect way to benchmark a system.

It's only synthetic, so not real world.
