ThinkPad X60 Tablet FingerPrint Sensor Driver

Hi Folks

Just received a X60 Tablet. Previous owner had upgraded to a 250 GB HDD and installed a clean copy of XP. So no recovery partition. He had installed some drivers but not for the Fingerprint Sensor.

System says it can't find the sensor on the splash screen during boot up.

I've had a good look around the Lenovo Driver Matrix page and no joy there. Did a search on Fingerprint here and surprisingly, didn't find anything.

Anyone else had this problem? I suppose an alternative is to call Lenovo and buy some recovery disks.

Thanks in advance.

You need to install Client Security Solution (CSS) and Fingerprint Software and Atmel TPM.

Great stuff. That worked a treat. I should have thought a little more laterally rather than focusing on "Fingerprint" as a keyword. Thanks muchly. :)

If you are upgrading to Windows 8, the Fingerprint Reader driver can be found here: http://support.lenovo.com/en_US/researc ... MIGR-77280

Though the readme doesn't list the X60 Tablet, just the X60, I've installed it and it works.
