X60s will not power up

I have a X60s that will not power up. The LED for the plug will light up when the power adapter is plugged in, but, when I hit the power button the fan is the only part that powers on. I've tried re-seating the keyboard, and the memory, but no luck. Has anyone else had this issue, and, if so, where you able to correct it?

Welcome to the forum.
Try it with the main battery removed.
If that fails, remove charger and main battery, press/hold the power button down 10 times for 1 second, then press/hold it for 30 seconds.
This will reset the laptop.
Connect only the charger and try to boot.

Did it work when you got it?
If not, return it for a refund.

Worked great when I got it, we got it new. Powered it down one afternoon, tried to power it up the next morning, and nothing.

Have you got another IBM/Lenovo 20V charger to try ?
Do NOT attempt any other than original chargers!
If you have a multimeter, take the motherboard out of the laptop and start measuring the fuses.
Remove charger and battery before you start on that.
Instructions on the how-to here: http://support.lenovo.com/en_US/detail. ... MIGR-62866
See the fuse diagram here: http://forum.thinkpads.com/viewtopic.php?f=30&t=85964

Thanks. I'll give that a shot at the shop in the morning.
