Windows 7 64bit no OpenGL

Hello,

I just installed Celestia on my X61 Tablet and noticed that there's no OpenGL in my fresh Windows 7 Ultimate 64bit installation. Google Earth is also not working in OpenGL mode. I only get a black window in which remain the rests of other windows which were moved across the OpenGL window. In Windows XP (2005 Tablet Edition) OpenGL works. Of course I reinstalled the lenovo graphics driver, no success. The original Intel driver won't install. I read in another forum about the same problem, but there was no solution.

Do you have noticed the same problems? Could anyone test Google Earth in OpenGL mode to compare? How are your Windows speed results of the X61t? I have 3.5 in Aero and 3.1 in Business/Gaming mode. I switched to Classic view.

Has anyone an Idea?

I found the problem: I'm using the Classic Theme in Win 7, and this disables OpenGL, for what reason ever. If I switch to an Aero Theme, OpenGL works.

If anyone has an idea to fix this, would be great.

Are you kidding me? I don't like this. I hope this is not for a fact. I always use classic theme without Aero etc. Why Load the system w Graphics processing that is not needed.

PS: How do you check whether OpenGLs working in the Classic Theme mode?
