Ultrabay not detecting the cdrom drive x61s

hi there,
its been a while never posted here.
i noticed that my ultrabay is not detecting my cdrom. sound usb and vga port tested working from the ultrabay. one thing strange usb port on the left side detected as usb1.1 . and yes im using 90w adapter for this.
tried windows xp,7
takeout and replug the cdrom drive.

bios also already updated. is there anything that i left?

Are you sure you're connect it properly?

You sort of slide the front onto the two pegs at the front of the Ultrabay and then push down at the back and it'll be docked properly.

Mine works fine, even though I only have the 65w PSU.

if i didnt mount it properly do u think the usb and vga works? let me try to press abit on the back part. i did see the dvd drive is lighting up and the drive spinning. but inside the os win7 or xp is not detecting anything

In the BIOS is a setting HDD diagnostic program.
In there is a test for the Ultrabay drive. Try that.

found that option. but i dont have hdd on mu ultrabay. only dvd rom.
