X60s screen sometimes going black

I haven't been able to deliberately recreate this but in six weeks or so of owning an eBay-bought X60s I've twice touched some area of the lid to move it only to see the screen go off. The machine stays on, with all activity lights staying as they were, but Fn and any plausible-looking function key doesn't bring it back on. Possibly to do with a connection somewhere? That little brown plastic cable looks weirdly exposed on the Thinkpads.

I've just had a T22 die on me so hopefully this isn't bad news.

I did fit a replacement keyboard bezel myself and the middle of the keyboard looks a little bit raised since, despite one re-seat when I first saw that, whether or not this is related. The laptop is otherwise great, running Linux Mint 13, so I don't fancy ignoring this just because it's happened infrequently.

Thanks for any ideas.

Could be a loose connection of the LCD cable into the LCD. Disassemble the lid and check.
