Undervolting the X61 Tablet

#1 Post by astroidea » Sun Dec 02, 2012 4:17 am

I've been trying to accomplish this with RMClock.

However, the lowest voltage setting is 1.025V, which is higher than the 0.965V that the L7500 1.6GHz Core2Duo is rated at. Was anyone able to successfully undervolt their CPU?

Look under advanced CPU settings or something.
There's a checkbox there that sets whether the CPU is a desktop or laptop processor.
Under win7 it's usually set to "Desktop".
Uncheck it and check "Laptop"
You would then gain access to the lower voltages. In my X61 with T8100, it goes down to 0.95v. I don't know how low it goes for lower-voltage L7xxx CPUs.
