Ultrabase connector pinout?

#1 Post by flyingfishfinger » Wed Dec 12, 2012 5:22 am

Hi-
I haven't had any luck getting that Startech SATA controller card to work (see "experiment" thread a few rows down). That would have been the cleanest way to add a second (and third) SATA channel.
However, I've seen some posts where people hacked onto a SATA channel that seemed to be available from the dock connector, I'd be interested in looking into this.
Does anyone know of a pinout for this connector or the layout for the motherboard?
Thanks,

Rafael

SATA lanes are available from the dock connector of a X200. With X60/61, there are only PATA lanes, since UltraBay devices are all PATA in that generation.
