How can I use Lenovo x61s additional keys?

#1 Post by interfector » Fri Apr 26, 2013 11:52 pm

On my x61s Lenovo I have two unmapped buttons that I would like to use in place for Home and End. The buttons are located on the sides of the up arrow key. I would like to know how I can map those additional keys so that I can use them in xcfe. I have managed to remap the keys in the CLI, but not in the GUI.

Those are the browser back & forward keys, and you should be able to remap them using Xmodmap. See here: http://www.thinkwiki.org/wiki/How_to_ge ... ys_to_work
