Help needed for X61 WXP Tablet recovery disk
Hello, I just got a nice X61t without HDD but soon realize that XP tablet was not easy to find.
I try to order a recovery disk from lenovo but I don't think they would have one since it was discountinued
back in 2011. I know Win7 could offer everything I need but it just not worth to spend around $200 to a win7 and another $50 for the ram. I also tried installing the tablet 2005(find online) with the key on my COA but no luck (it simply won't recognize the key and I skipp it, then got an XP Pro) So I am asking if anyone possibly had a solution or one of those recovery disk or image that could help me out. Thanks a lot!!

Go to http://forum.notebookreview.com/lenovo/ ... ost6501443 and download/install Middleton's X61T BIOS from there.
It does all sorts of great things, including Slic2.1 tables.
Then get your hands on some newer (e.g. T400 upwards) Lenovo W7 Restore disks, and you're in business.
