If you want to put a 1/2-size card in a full-size slot, you should also get a 1/2-size bracket to fill the gap.
Based on Lenovo laptop antenna wire coloring, the White would go to 1, and the Black to 2.
Whether that makes any difference in yours? Don't know...
Are you running W7 or higher?
Installed the correct driver(s)?
Tried that card in another machine?
BTW, this forum is for IBM/Lenovo machines, you sure you posted this in the right place?

Which laptop are you using the 7260 in?
If it's a X60, then bluetooth will not work ever. These WiFi+Bluetooth cards utilize both the PCIe and USB lanes in the miniPCIe connector, and on the X60 there are no USB lanes in the WLAN slot and no PCIe lanes in the WWAN slot.

@twistero
Have you tried 7260ac in X60/X61?
Does Fn+F5 work?

No. The newest Intel cards I've ever used are 6300 (in X60t), 6205 (in T61) and 5300 (In T60). All work with Fn+F5.

Hey guys,
I have manage to get Intel Dual-band AC-7260 to work in the WWAN slot. The bluetooth only works in the WWAN slot as it connects via USB. Pin 51 must be taped to prevent BIOS from disabling USB interface. Both Fn + F5 and access connections works great.
Connection is very stable with the latest v17 drivers and bluetooth works great! but you'll not get WiFi LED indicator. hardware switch works for the WWAN slot as well. Unfortunately I had switch it back to WLAN slot and use it without BT as I have Broadcom Crystal HD on the WWAN slot.
For some reason Crystal HD in the WLAN even though it had installed correctly. I suspect it may be drawing supplementary power from USB interface as video are showing corrupted
