second fan hack

Can't quite figure out how the second fan is wired in. Any advice is appreciated! =)

Only X61 with WWAN from factory have the small fan. Other X61 boards do not have the connector soldered to them.

I have two X61 units, one with fan and the other without.

When I open them up maybe next week, I can take close-up pics of the area around the fan connectors so you can make comparisons. :D
