I'm having a problem with a x61 tablet windows tablet installed. I had to change the full display with that of a x60tablet, no problem mounting and everything works fine on ubuntu, but on windows xp tablet touch fails to work. the display of the x61 work with both pen and fingers while it's x60 only with the pen but over lenovo site seem that the driver is the same. the only thing is that I managed to get the pointer to move just with increments of 10 cm without any sense. someone has an idea? thanks

It should work... idk how it wouldn't.
Maybe not the correct drivers.
Are tablet functions disabled from Windows?

You can swap a complete X60T lid onto an X61T (or v.v.).
Been there, done that.
However, not every tablet screen is also a touch-screen!
Next time you ask questions, please give us the 7-character
TYPE from each machine (example: X61T=
7762-AT2 and X60T=
6366-L6U).

as I said, the problem was not only to touch with your finger but also with the pen.
the screen of the x60t only worked with pen and that of 'x61t with both pen and finger.
the screen of the x60t swapped on the x61t did not detect the pen tablet on windows xptablet and windows 7.
on ubuntu instead worked great.
the problem is that windows install a wrong driver (I think the original x61t multitouch driver) and then not finding the multitouch panel does not work.
the right driver showed me ubuntu: serial wacom tablet WACF004: Wacom Penabled MiniDriver.
I had to select the device Penabled Wacom Dual Touch Driver and force Windows to use the Wacom Penabled MiniDriver
okay, problem solved thanks to everyone.
