x61 tablet replacemnt fan

I'd like to buy a fan without the heat sink to save a few bucks. I'm curious if anyone has tried this fan for the x61 tablet. part # MCF-W03PAM05

I looked also on amazon and I saw a few reviews with the same fan part # mentioning it did not fit properly. I wanted to see what the thoughts were here.
I'm capable if simple dissassembly / repair, but I should not try to mod a fan to work, I will surly screw the whole thing up

Also if anyone knows of a vendor that has fans which are known to work, that would be great too.

It will not fit.

That fan is intended for x6 series with txxx cpu, and tablet only have Lxxx and Uxxx cpu, the entire cooler is different, so don't buy it.
