I seem to be getting an unusually hot palm rest that doesn't have anything to do with the Wifi. Heat is generated more along the top edge of the palm rest, near the fingerprint reader. On the motherboard, this seems to correspond to a bunch of large SOIC MOSFETs that are installed just below the HDD slot and switch power to various things as far as I know. I didn't notice these getting this hot in my previous X61, is this something that is known to happen?
