My experience is the graphics stutter a bit but otherwise is great. I upgraded an X61s to Win10 during the free upgrade period. My X61 will remain running Windows 7, my backup X61 has XP with a lot of useful software installed, but that does not get used for nearly anything.

I installed win10 pro 64bit on my x61 tablet. I used "Driver solution pack" application, everything works fine now, even mute button.
I dont know wether the screen should auto rotate when using the device in tablet mode or not. Anyway before this, on win7 it was the same as now (should be rotated manually with tablet buttons - no auto rotate).
I read several topics about updating the "lenovo device interface" driver to fix auto rotate issue, even though i've never known what the heck it is??
