Hi all,

To X62 owners on this forum: does it suffer from the "hot palmrest" issue that affected the X6*?

Also, any feedback on the battery life?

I'm not aware of anyone outside of China that had received a first batch of the X62 motherboards, and the second batch was just recently completed. Still waiting on shipping.

You can still order X62, but the shipping would not be until November.

From which order was that? I put in an order for the first form that Reddit user nwlsky set up, with estimated shipping in late September.

Was bought second hand - and it was the first run (50 boards, prototyping the mfg process and debuging as needed); the board you ordered is a production run.
