palmrest sticker

#1 Post by SynbiosVyse » Wed Dec 13, 2017 8:39 pm

The same-sized IBM sticker from my X60 lid doesn't quite fit the spot on the X61s palmrest. Is there another sticker that fits the palmrest or would I need a different FRU palmrest?

Followup: I figured out I have a 15th anniversary palmrest with rubberized coating. That explains why the sticker doesn't fit properly.

It should have a 15th anniversary sticker which is longer like shown here:

I don't think I knew about those 15th Anniversary machines until now. Neat.

That's pretty cool! Isn't that what they call the 'Signature Edition' of these machines? (The 500 really really fancy ones that Lenovo is still technically obligated to provide a special 24/7 support for?)
