The amusing results:
1. CPU temperature hovers around 50c, even at ~70% CPU utilization according to Task Manager.
2. The palmrest is hotter than the heatsink's exhaust-- I'm still using the stock Intel 3945BG wifi as I haven't flashed Zender's BIOS yet.
3. It's surprisingly usable (I'm typing this post on it), though noticeably sluggish; note that I'm running Debian Linux, booting from a 32GB SSD connected via USB.
4. Ran 7zip benchmark. Here's the result:
