I've been having a weird problem with my x61. When I plug in headphones on the audio jack, I get sound from both the headphones and the speakers, when usually the speakers would mute if headphones are connected.
Google says it's usually software related, but in my case, if I press on the palmrest near the fingerprint reader, the speaker mutes, so I'm assuming it is a hardware problem.
My question is, is there a way to identify if the audio jack is the faulty one or the whole motherboard?
