Apologies if this has been covered before, I searched for the solution but could not find a definitive answer.
I finally scored a cheap x61t, and I would like to take its motherboard into my beautiful SXGA+ X60t. I know that the recommended way to go about this is to switch the whole bottom base parts. However, my SXGA+ X60T is in mint condition (no scrathes, no broken part) while the X61T is in quite bad condition (broken plastics, scrathces) so I would like to keep the X60 chassis and plastics as it is. Would this be a direct motherboard swap or is this more complicated? Has anyone done this swap before?
Thanks a lot.

Most parts are interchangeable betwixt the X60/61T models... I have eight of the l'il devils here between both versions (plus a few more as parts-only machines) and have been swapping/exchanging parts between them for ages.

If you can CC me on that...I'd want to take a look at that too!
The efficiency of two screens equally sized with equal numbers if pixels are equal. The time spent by a 4:3 user complaining about 16:9 is proportional to the inefficiency working with a 16:9 display, therefore the amount of useful work extracted is equal.
