I have a problem with my x60 battery. When plugged in the battery light is green the power management says the battery is a 100%. When I unplug the computer quits and the light flashes very quickly in yellow. Machine will not boot. Re-plug the Main lead and all goes back to green and the OS automatically boots. I am now on my 2nd replacement battery, so I dont think the battery is at fault. Perhaps I need a new power/charger lead.
Is there a diagnostic process for battery charging/wellness which checks charger, leads motherboard and battery to help isolate the problem?
