X61t missing capacitor

#1 Post by fubukimaru » Sun May 09, 2021 10:08 am

Hello everyone!
I recently got myself a new X61t main board, however it didn't power up. After checking it I have found that there is a missing capacitor here:

I have found these schematics:
https://www.laboneinside.com/lenovo-thi ... c-diagram/

C770 is named as scd1u25v3kx-gp there, but I have found no information about this component. I'm not able to find the capacitor voltage and capacitance. Does anyone have more information about the components?

I hope I can fix this board :D. Thanks!

Check page 2 of that diagram, under CAPACITOR.

PS: the old Boardroom website is still available on the Wayback Machine

Didn't see that. That was silly.

So in the end the capacitor I need is the following:

SC D1U 25V 3 K X -GP
Type = SMT ceramic
Value = 0.1uF
Rating = 25V
Size = 0603
Tolerance = K
Material = X7R/X5R
Right?
Any clue on what does GP mean?

Thanks!

Update:
Bought a capacitor with those characteristics and the machine is up and running!
