Windows 11 working on X61 tablet

I just installed Windows 11 on my X61 tablet.

Seems fine so far. Make sure TPM is on in the bios, and make your USB install drive with Rufus >3.16 (I used 3.17), and set the install type to 'Extended Windows 11 (no TPM/no secure boot)".

Most devices working out of the box. Haven't tested everything yet.

No real reason to be running it, just wanted to see if it worked OK. Will more interested to test the android features when they arrive.

That's an interesting development. It hadn't occurred to me to even try to install Win 11 on my old X61 Tablets.

x61 here, 4gb ram: this rufus idea worked perfect for me. Now having win_10 vs win_11 races.

Well by my findings, I am very positive Windows 11 will even work on a X60 or its tablet variant provided that you have a Core 2 duo CPU installed (which may be rare, and having enough RAM so Windows 11 won't crash trying to load the kernel of course).
I have already tried Windows 11 with success on a Compaq V3000, with the exact same specs as a widescreen T60 with a T7200 and 945GM graphics.
However, the 945GM graphics is truly struggling in Windows 11 even at a WXGA resolution. Discrete graphics won't do much better as their driver support is really buggy once you step up to Windows 10 and higher.
