Hello,
today arrived my Lenovo X61s, I have two IBM X60s but I always want a Lenovo X61s and I have few questions, can I use Keyboard from IBM X60s on Lenovo X61s? The keyboard for IBM X60s is Croatian, and the Lenovo X61s is German but I noticed that they don't use the same milliampere, is that a problem or not?

IBM X60s Keyboard use..............5VDC 1.0mA
Lenovo X61s Keyboard use..........5VDC 7.0mA

I never noticed these mA differences, but the keyboards should be interchangeable. The +5V line can typically provide power in the range of whole amperes. 1mA or 7mA will make no difference.

That X60s KB was made by NMB.
That X61s KB was made by Alps.
As said, they are interchangeable (but not their parts such as individual keys).

Yes. I've already done such keyboard swaps before without issue.

This is great news, the Croatian keyboard is in fact English KB with additional Croatian letters, the difference is only in the Enter (big blue) key and the German is full German :), that's the reason for swapping, and of course the Lenovo X61s I will use it mostly on daily basis.

Thank you all guys for helping me.
