X61s screen backlight doesn't work. Faulty mobo?

Greetings, recently I have decided to swap screen lid in my primary X61s, for a better looking one from another X61s I own.
After doing so and assembling everything together, I noticed that the backlight on the donor machine's screen ceased to work.
Checking both the screen and the inverter board in the working X61s leads me to believe, that the fault must lie somewhere within the donor machine's motherboard, as the two components listed above work without issues.
Backlight issues are most often caused by the backlight itself obviously or the inverter but they seem to be working.
Has anyone faced the same (or similar) issue before? If so, I'll appreciate any help.

Have you checked the fuses?

No, I don't have a voltage meter. If it is being caused *just* by a fuse blowing up, I suppose I could go to a computer repair shop and have the people over there look at it.

It is most likely fuse F2 near the LCD-connector.
It's a 3A/32V/Fast fuse, tiny little thing, usually with letter P printed on it.
P/N ERBRD3R00X or 434003
You can solder the new one on top of the old one.

That did the trick, thank you very much.
