According to this review on NotebookReview.com, it's 2.5" for both X60 and X60s. I'm just wondering how the X60s manages to be slimmer and lighter if it has the same HDD as the X60..di wrote:is it 2.5" HDD on the new X60s.. or just X60..??

Same here, though heat is my main concern: the P-M of my X31 gets really hot when running at 1.4 GHz, which is why I'm running it at 600 MHz most of the time (fast enough for what I'm doing with it). )No XP here (the first thing I did upon receiving my X31 was to remove XP and replace it with W2K). Battery MaxiMiser works just fine: I have created a special scheme with low CPU speed + bright LCD, and I just select the "High system performance" scheme when I need maximum speed.bhtooefr wrote:You want SpeedSwitch XP or whatever it's called.

It's good news the X60s is smaller/lighter than an X41, yet features a 2.5" HDD. The reason why I was wondering was that with the X40, it appeared LV and ULV models were configured as low-end models (no goodies). The goodies came with faster CPU's. So far, my fears appear to be founded: out of the three models that are listed in the latest tabook.pdf, guess which is the only one that has Bluetooth? Right, the "high-end" X60, with the fastest CPU (1.83GHz) and the biggest HDD (80GB).
