Hi guys,

My order is scheduled to ship on 02/13/2006. I don't understand why others have been given a ridiculous ETA of 2-3 MONTHS??

I've been checking the IBM Order Status website almost every day. My order was in back order for a couple of days but the status has just changed to "Scheduled to ship 02/13/2006".

BTW I placed my order on the web (Lenovo Australia) on 01/26/2006.

Lucky you ...

Here in the Netherlands there isn't any option to buy online

Why is this "rediculous"?

I ordered an X60s last night, model# 17044DU and got an online ship date of 02/15/06. I am not sure whether to believe the Toronto sales crew or the online system. The sales people are saying anywhere from 2 weeks to 14 weeks. This does not make sense, since they should all be quoting the same timeframe, as I am sure they are regularly briefed on availability.
If my ship date starts to slip, I will make a decision then on cancellation.
