X60 - delivered!

Not to me, but my boss in the US ordered a X60, not expecting delivery for a while. Then the other day what turns up, but an X60!
So he sets it up, and by all accounts is a smoking machine. Then he happens to flip it over. All over the bottom of the laptop are Lenovo stickers saying that the machine is a pre production model/not to be shipped outside of Lenovo/test machine/for display only etc. You get the idea. So it looks like Lenovo messed up and shipped him a test/pre production machine.
He has a call into CDW about it, but now he does not want to give it up!!

I ordered an X60s a few days ago, and it has a status of "packing" right now.

Someone claims to have called Lenovo today and was told that they had a bunch of machines ready to ship out on Monday.

Would you please let me know what model of x60s you ordered? Mine is 17023QM. Mine should also be coming soon. I'm so excited!!

Does anyone have idea that they need how many days for "packing"?
My X60s has keep packing 4 days...

Check out my new thread.
I just got an email from IBM/Lenovo.
The "packing" status is totally incorrect, and they are not going to ship at this time.

I called and ordered a X60 today and the CSR said the wait for the new dual core models is 1.5 - 2 months. I hope it really doesn't take that long
