I have purchase my X60 last week
everything work fine, but the wireless card seem got some problem

Frist, it run quite hot on the PCI express card slot.
Around 1-3hrs usage, the wireless network got drop off , I cannot access the Thinkpad access and i found that the wireless indicators turn off suddnely, it say my wireless card is power off . I cannot even turn on the wireless back, I need reboot to reslove the problem.

Then I keep got disconnet by my wireless AP about 10-30min, but if I let the pc cold down about 1hrs, I can get online around 2-3hrs again..

it's that a overheat issue on the X60 wireless?? I have tired to restore the windows to factory default, and using different brand AP, but I got same problems.

It is possible to open the case to check the PCI express card slot? Will I break the warranty by it? Any reference document how I can take out the wireless card ?

My X60s WLAN card works perfectly fine. I think your WLAN card might be faulty.

I've had a couple of wireless problems.

Despite the fact that I ran the Lenovo Software Update, it did not fix it.

IBM support had me uninstall the WLAN driver AND the Access Connections softare.
Then, download the latest manually from the web and install them.

I still getting busy this week, don't have time bring the notebook to the services center
