Is Virtualization enabled on the X60s processors?

I'm interested in using Parallels virtualization software to run Linux in Windows.

Parallels is currently offering a free trial of the software if anybody wants to try it out. http://www.parallels.com/en/download/

VMware also have a free version of their VMware server beta. It does not support virtualization, so it should be slower than Parallels' version.

I just tried Parallels Workstation. It's nice and fast.

I can boot up Knoppix Live CD ISO in about 55seconds (to main menu with browser open and loaded). That's with the Virtualization enabled. Without using Virtualization, it takes about 15seconds more.

Knoppix also detected the processor as a 12423mhz Celeron processor. hahaha!

edit: My P4 2.4ghz desktop takes over 2minutes to get to the same point. It doesn't have Virtualization technology and 256MB less RAM.

cool, so the x60s does support virtualization? Is it easy to install?
