I got the same Problem about BEEP

I bought my x60s-17044JU in the end of April. From them on, it beeps everyday, four or five times per day. It is really annoy!

I also got another problem. When I shut down the auto protection system for harddriver in windows, and wanna restart it again, the systems always fails to do that, and tells me "the sensor is not in the right status/;.

GDI, what's the problems on earth?

I have tried the ways above, but it doesnt work...what should I do?

I'd say to call IBM support and exchange that sucker for one that works.
