Is the X60s really this small?

Ok - I currently have an X41 tablet and according to Lenovo's web site, it's dimensions are:
Height 1.14 in
Depth 10.47 in
Width 10.80 in
The X60s dimensions (again, according to Lenovo's web site):
Height 0.80 in
Depth 8.3 in
Width 10.5 in
That's a significant difference. I didn't think so at first and then I stopped by the local Sony Style store and started looking at the TX series. The TX series seems tiny. When I looked up the dimensions of the Sony TX, I get this:
Height 0.83-1.12 in
Depth 7.7 in
Width 10.7 in
That means the X60s is pretty close in size to the Sony. So my question is (and this may be a silly question), is the X60s really that much smaller than the X41's??
Just wish the X60s at the wide screen resolution of the Sony (1366x768).

from CNET:
Measuring 10.5 inches wide, 8.3 inches deep, and 0.8 inch thick at the front (1.1 inches thick at the back), the ThinkPad X60s is nearly identical to its predecessor, the ThinkPad X41

Remember that the X41t is larger than the regular X41. Notably the X41t is over 2 inches deeper than the regular X41 to accommodate the swivel hinge.
The Sony TX models have a lot of great features, but the keyboard is pretty small (17mm key pitch) and you have to deal with sony reliability and service (eek).

That is really the size, but that's with the four-cell battery. With the eight-cell, the depth is more like 9.3 inches.

I hate sony. It is not necessary to back up my statement with reason since it is sony. Thank you. Have a nice day.

The size of X60s is nearly the same as X41 but is significantly smaller than your X41T.

Sony ???????????????? Say NO to it.
Its key board is terrible compared with that of ThinkPad. And Sony's quality is better than Dell but not as good as IBM.

I certainly agree with this. I have a had a few Sony VAIO's over the last 4 years and they have terrible keyboards, very poor service, and mixed reliability. They were attractive to me because of the nice designs and form factors, however I would not suggest a Sony. And this is coming from someone who likes Sony products, just not their notebook computers.
