how to do hard disk partitioning on x60s

#1 Post by zhenjian » Sun May 21, 2006 12:26 am

:(

I used partition magic 8.0 to resize the c: drive of x60s, but failed and XP couldn't boot. I have to use RoR to reset the hard disk to factory default.

Does anyone here have the experience to successfully resize c: drive of x60s? By the way, I have neither a usb cdrom nor a bootable usb memory stick. Is there a way for me to resize c: drive?

Thanks! Or2

I used the Arconis partitioning software without any problem, and I know the pm 8 shoud work- no idea what went wrong in your case.

Sorry, I think there is no way you need to buy an USB stick or CD/DVD drive (you spent about 1800 USD for the notebook and do not want to spent further 30- 100 USD for the drive/stick?)

thanks, everybody.

I've tried twice and failed twice. I've no idea what went wrong.
I'll call the lenovo support line to get help and keep you updated if there's a solution to my case.
